Welcome to the 25/26 Basketball Registration with Springfield Parks & Recreation!

  • This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, and submit payment.
  • Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. 
  • To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or ACH Bank Account information available.

 

Note for 5th & 6th Grade Families

 

RMS will have 5th and 6th grade basketball teams for both boys and girls this winter.

Based on participation in previous years, all interested girls will likely make the school teams. However, that may not be the case for 5th and 6th grade boys due to higher registration numbers.
 

  • RMS plans to keep 12–13 players on each 5th & 6th grade team.

  • Last year, 26 boys in this age group participated through Parks & Rec.

  • School tryouts will be held November 10–12 for both boys and girls.

Parks & Rec basketball registration will remain open until November 24, about 7–10 days after tryouts.

 

Recommendations:

  • 5th & 6th Grade Girls: Register with the school and attend tryouts. Unless there is a large increase in participants the school will run the 5th-6th grade team

  • 5th & 6th Grade Boys: Register with the school and attend the tryout. If your son doesn't make the team there will still be time to sign up with us. The Parks & Rec intends to have a team.
